Congratulations to the Nets for finishing the Junior Boys regular season with an undefeated record, and to the Kings for winning the tournament! Congratulations to the Panthers for winning the Junior Girls championship game! Congratulations to the Vipers for finishing the Elementary Girls season in first place, and to the Shock for winning the tournament! Congratulations to the Bears and Panthers for finishing the The Elementary Boys season tied for first place! The Bears went on to defeat the Panthers in the tournament final. Congratulations to The Process for an undefeated season and tournament victory in the Senior Boys division!
Berkley Hoops is a recreational basketball program designed to provide young athletes with an opportunity to compete at a friendly, yet competitive level. The program is devoted to instructing athletes of all skill levels and creating an environment where anyone can compete. Berkley Hoops is open to all Berkley and Huntington Woods residents, and all Berkley School District Students, in grades 4th through 12th. There is also an option for younger athletes to participate in the “Future Hoopers” Program while in the 1st through 3rd grades.
VOLUNTEERS AND COACHES ARE NEEDED!
Berkley Hoops is a parent-run volunteer organization. Opportunities for participation include: Board Member, Coach, Assistant Coach. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact us at email@example.com.
The Hoops Board is in NEED of new parent volunteers.
The board meets the second Wednesday of every month at 7:00PM at the HW Rec Center. Please feel free to come out and sit in on a meeting and/or join the Board. Your participation will help the keep this program available for the kids!
Our revamped Future Hoopers division and new Small Ball division wrapped up their seasons February 10th. This was a learning year for us and we appreciate your patience and input. We will be counting on more parent volunteers with this age group next year, so please consider how you could help this program continue to be available for the kids in the community!
